The SALUS project brings together a well-suited, strong consortium including world-leading large corporations, operators, SMEs and PPDR users in the project’s key areas and renowned research organizations and universities that have a proven record in contributing to scientific developments and successfully cooperating with the industry:
- Three Large Industrial Corporations: Alcatel-Lucent International, Airwave (also an Operator), Cassidian;
- Four SMEs: OneSource, Rohill (also a manufacturer), UbiTEL, FIGO;
- Two Research Institutions: Fraunhofer-IOSB, Instituto de Telecomunicações;
- Five Universities: Univ. Belgrade-School of EE, Kingston Univ. London, Univ. Ljubljana, Univ. Patras, Univ. Twente;
- Two PPDR End-Users: Emergency Services College (ECS), Public Safety Com. Europe Forum (PSCE)
The consortium has the critical mass to exert a strong influence on policy definition, technology development, market trends and standardization in the area of PPDR. All partners are listed in the table below.
